Unitfive Design

Unitfive Design custom designs and handcrafts signature lighting, furniture and sophisticated objects for retail, hospitality and private collectors` worldwide. Clients include Saks Fifth Avenue, Park Hyatt New York, Dalloyau Hong Kong and W Hotels.

Our strategic approach has garnered media in the The New York Times, Azure Magazine, Architectural Lighting, Designlines and Interior Design Magazine. Exhibition and festival partnerships include the Toronto Design Offsite Festival and NYCxDesign/Wanted Design Manhattan. Our content strategy produced a digital video featuring their installation at Saks Fifth Avenue Toronto which debuted in Frame Magazine Online.

Ultrafabrics

Ultrafabrics is a Japanese produced, New York based range of premium, animal-free materials that are reshaping the world of performance fabrics.

Studio M.A. is pleased to be partnering with Friends & Co. to represent Ultrafabrics in the North American market. Our ongoing success includes multiple launches, partnerships and thought leadership panels that garnered coverage in Interior Design Magazine, WWD/Women’s Wear Daily, Architectural Record, Architectural Digest, OnOffice and Luxe Interiors and Design.

GAbriel Scott

Gabriel Scott is a Canadian produced lighting and furniture brand with head offices in New York and London.

Studio M.A. is pleased to be partnering with Friends & Co. to represent Gabriel Scott in the North American market. Our ongoing success includes multiple launches, partnerships and thought leadership panels at design events in Milan, London and New York.

Quench Trip Design

Quench is a boutique travel design company serving the well-heeled experience seeker. It offers a remedy for humdrum, run-of-the-mill travel. Quench is reimagining experience and travel design at the highest level. We're happy to be supporting its marketing and media outreach by envisioning their digital peripherals, paid media, content strategy and B2B and B2C communications.

Recent success saw Quench trips featured in the New York Post Travel section and Travel+Leisure Magazine. Strategic business strategies include a partnership with TransCanada Trail/ The Great Trail with a trip featuring Ed Robertson of Barenaked Ladies and Alan Doyle of Great Big Sea.

COFO Design

COFO DESIGN is a Toronto based interdisciplinary design studio focused on furniture, space and groundbreaking collaborative partnerships. We were happy to support their 2018 international furniture launch with 1stdibs.com and their Toronto pop-up shop, garnering media support from Elle Canada, House & Home Magazine, Toronto Home, Designlines and Azure Magazine.

Jeff Goodman Studio

Jeff Goodman Studio is a modern glass design and fabrication studio based in Toronto, Canada. Led by Creative and Executive Director Sylvia Lee the 28 year-old company is a creative resource for a global list of premium brands, art collectors and the architectural industry.

Clients include The Ritz Carlton Hotel, Barney’s New York, Rossana Orlandi, The Hazelton Hotel and the Royal Ontario Museum. We're happy to be supporting their long term business development through B2B and B2C outreach strategies, content creation, festival and exhibition partnerships and media placement.

Recent successes include multiple product launches at DesignTO and editorial coverage in Azure, Designlines, Dezeen, Belle, and NUVO.

HOllace Cluny

Hollace Cluny is one of Canada's première retail destinations for furniture, lighting and objet d'art. We were pleased to support them with their marketing, media and social media outreach around their 2013-2015 relaunch. Over the course of 2 years we executed a B2B and B2C outreach including building a narrative around their move to a new retail showroom and their shift to servicing the design trade. We launched a newsletter strategy and created a digital vignette focusing on the finer details of their offering. We also supported their Toronto Design Offsite Festival show featuring Bec Brittain Lighting.

Studio M.A. strategized their 2014 showroom launch event and their 2015 “What’s New. What’s Next.” event featuring brands like Apparatus Studio, Lindsey Adelman, Knoll, Carl Hansen & Son, Materia, Uhuru Design, BDDW, Anna Karlin, Skram, and Workstead.

Boudicca

Founded by Brian Kirby and Zowie Broach, the Head of Fashion at London's Royal College of Art, Boudicca is a fashion label of conceptual and architecturally inspired designs known for its non-conformist approach to commerce. Consistently blurring the lines between fashion and art, Broach and Kirby’s work has been displayed at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, as well as the Art Institute of Chicago.

We were pleased to support their Fall/Winter 06 New York Fashion Week presentation 'Invisible City' with a conceptual statement articulating their creative vision for their collection.

WuYork

Founded by artist and designer York Wu, WUYORK and his fashion label Nœud Papillon are part of his interdisciplinary creative brand that expresses itself through both art and fashion.

For their launch, Studio M.A. worked with the New York-based company to craft their launch messaging through a media package, press release, artist statement, copy for their website and associated look book.

Designstead

Designstead is Canada's première boutique retail design firm. With a growing client list of both mass market and boutique retailers, their creative vision for the future of the 'bricks-and-mortar' shopping experience is highly coveted.

Studio M.A. supported Designstead's media outreach for their work with Telus, Simons and Andrew's. As well, we supported their press junket and media outreach for the international launch of the Me to We Store, the retail face of the We.org Movement.
